Who is your official whipping boy for 2012?
« on: February 11, 2012, 01:11:49 PM »
Time to officially declare your hand, prior to the kicking off of the NAB cup and season proper.

Who is your official whipping boy for 2012, or, should we support all of our players irrespective of how they play?

Vote and discuss.

Should support them on game day and then talk about how they played after the game. Whipping boys are for idiots

Of course. Nothing more embarrassing for our supporters to see some of our other supporters bag our own players at the footy and giving opposition supporters a massive head while laughing at us. Not to mention annoying all our other supporters who support every one of our players on game day. If I see constant abuse from one of our own supporters I'll snap em out  :thumbsup. They probably show up to 3 games a year anyway

Jackson. Would have happily sent him off to Sydney instead of Morton.

But I'd happilly send him off for absolutely no compensation aswell.

As opposed to supporters who dont verbalise what they are thinking at the game, and then come home and tee off at players on forums like this?

It's still whipping, just a different method.

And often, the criticism is on the money. It's just whether it's constructive and a shared view that irks do gooder supporters at the end of the day.

Edwards will frustrate me the most with his ability to do the impossible followed straight up by the absurd.
Jackson will annoy me the most with his stupidity under pressure.
Graham will disappoint me the most with his complete inability to do anything good in spite of his physique.

I'm as vocal as anyone. Standing with a pumped fist after every goal. But I rarely whinge about umpiring or players. 95% of the time the ump makes the right decision. Many supporters just make noise when they are whingeing about the umps or players but when we kick a goal they are as quiet as a mouse. Are they at the game just to get away from the wife?  8)

Can we please have Hardwick and Riewoldt added to this thread.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Gerks 27/6/11

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Not going to whip him but I don't have big expectations of Gus Graham.
