Going down to just one ruckman (Kreuzer) when Hampson went down early actually helped them as it forced them to go small and with speed. The other top sides will get this game and show how speed forward of centre can split open the Pies. Harry O (is there a more overrated footballer
) and Maxwell 1-on-1 got exposed again. Wellingham will get a nice holiday for his charge on Simpson.
As for us we can still jump ahead of the Blues tomorrow if we win by more than 6 goals. We are still in control of our own destiny given we play North and Carlton. If we don't win the games that matter then we don't deserve to be in the finals anyway. Hopefully if there's one thing we learn from tonight is no matter the situation if you come to play physically and mentally over 4 quarters then you can win and win well. Likewise don't underestimate and disrespect your opposition as you'll get burnt as you can't just flick a switch.
