One of the issues with Vickery is that his teammates kick it to Riewoldt with nearly every forward entry. He should be kicking a poo load of goals when they kick it to him 80% of the time. Vickery gets ignored often.

All Jack need to do is get out there are training, get the headphones in with the crowd noise and practise his set shots.
Just a confidence issue for both him.

Ive been having the impression his set shots missing could do with the surgeries. I could imagine it'd be hard to adjust your body after having, what 3-4?, surgeries on his hip/s and ankle/s.

Everyone seems a have a hate on for Jack at the moment >:(
Maybe Houli should step up, take full steps when entering a contest not little ones, keeps his eyeys on the ball when entering a marking contest, not drop his head when contact is coming and keep his head over the ball.

Not sure there was any "hate" in the articlem jsut a case of stating the bleeding obvious  ;D

Agree in part with you re Houli: certianly did what you've described against the Eagles and having watched that replay can say you really don't get great vision of how bad that stopping & propping was

what stage of the game did this happen willy?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Bachar is doing okay boys. Yep there was that instance against West Coast but I saw plenty of times sitting on the Railway Side of Etihad that day where when it was his turn to go he went.

He is only stating the obvious.

Hands up here who has been happy with Jack all year so far?

I like him too and Jack has under performed, I agree. I don't like to cane the man because he plays the game a thousand times better than me but he seems at times to be concerned about on coming contact. Therefore I think the club could have chosen a better person to front the media over jacks poor form.

i serously doubt the club would have selected houli to front the media over Jacks form.

He would have been selected to fullfill a request for someone, perhaps houli himself  specifically, by the media to appear on their show, in this case the ABC's grandstand breakfast show.

He then would have been asked about jack's form, amongst other questions.

i think by your own philosophy you should give Jack a break mate. Its not all money and glory you know. He might wanna go home to Tassie. Buy you probably would never understand that.

spot on Tucker, players are human too and sometimes they hesitate, ive seen him hesitate a few times but Ive also seen him go when it was his turn to a lot more.
He is spot on about Jack. Some softies reckon Im a hater, Im not... hes a shitload better than hes showing atm, needs to stop leading to pockets and playing from behind, cut those things out and he'll be back in business.

Yes true al, I think the article heading mislead me a little.

I agree Tony, players are human and that mantra even extends to other players such as Jack as well as Edwards, Jackson, McDonald, Dea etc.
Not that i am accusing you of otherwise ;) but i think your point is valid, the players are just as fallible as the rest of us and still only very young men but we sometimes expect the world from them and demonise them when they can't deliver.
