Ins: King, Miller, White

Outs: Mini Maric, Vickery, Cotchin (inj Dr Larkins on 3AW said Cotchin may a bone crack just above the elbow).

BTW if Jack's ankle doesn't come up Vickery stays

And I'm being nice there's another 2 or 3 who should be dropped based on todays "efforts"

Who are the other 2-3. Just curious as I missed the game

Ellis see Ruanaidh's post
Dea - that 20 metre squib kick in the 3rd sums it up
Grigg - refuses to go in for a hard ball. See final qtr he needed to attack a contest, stopped and propped = heartbreaker

Also didn't include Foley in my original INS because I reckon he will miss another week

Lol WP, Grigg would be top 3 in our B&F.
whats that got to do with grigg being almost totally outside. he doesnt put his head over the ball too often but he has had a good yr performing a gut running link up role.
do we give out b&fs for well rounded performances if so cotchin will win it every time.

Yes, the Dea Haters are out in force again :lol  I urge anyone to watch the replay again Twice, and tell me he should be dropped before 6 or 7 other players!
agree thought dea went alright. hes young hes inexperienced he will make mistakes. what do people expect.
he looks better than batchelor atm thats not to say batchelor should be dropped.
they arent out of their depth they are contributing but they will make mistakes as they go.

if fit and they maintain a decent level morris dea and batchelor should be the sml/med defenders for the rest of the yr let em jell into a cohesive unit.
get grimes back persevere with griffiths  down back and rance again let get used to one another and gell.
we may move big ben forward when astbury is up and going but i would just settle ben in for the rest of the yr as well and play astbury as a hit up forward when hes fit.

Agree with this. :clapping

Yeap so do I

Pope we didnt lose because Foley was out, we lost because outside of cotch, Tuck and Morris no one wanted to get their hands dirty.

We lost because we went in with Vickery and not White.

Dont blame depth when tackles were virtually non existent today. Thats why we lost

Yep, we were very soft at the ball all day and it stood out against our efforts of the past 8 weeks.  Cotchin stood out because he was almost a lone ranger in doing the blue collar work that we normally associate with Tuck, Foley, Morris etc.  This loss might hurt at the season's end re: making finals but I reckon it was a loss we had to have in order to refocus our team effort.  If we went into next week's game with the same attitude and effort of  yesterday then we would most likely get beaten and a loss to GWS would have a far greater negative impact on our season than losing to Freo.  Hopefully, this loss will allow the coaches to get stuck into the players and make them 'resharpen' their resolve.

That's exactly what I thought last night Smokey. Now I am very confident we will beat GWS

Still don't think we will make finals.

With yesterday's attitude we will surely drop one of those games against Nought or Buldogs

King will be back. We missed his pressure, hardness and workrate yesterday. I really think ellis needs time at a lower level to get hold of the ball and get his confidence up, although i dont think there will be too many unforced changes besides mini maric

if i were a betting man TV would be 1.20 to get dropped this week.

Dimma would hate not only his performance but that vision.

That alone is enough to get dropped

I cant fathom how he is getting a game, maybe cause of his old man

Hard to make changes when your ressies get flogged by almost 13 goals. Our depth or rather lack of it especially in decent smalls/mids is being tested  :P

So?

Not disputing that but when the game is on the line; you're team has the momentum and all you need to do is attack the contest to bottle the ball up to get ball up and you refuse to do it because you stop and do NOTHING and Freo clear the ball and score then you deserve to be punished.

Defining moment and you cost your team like that where you are currently placed in B&F voting means nothing. It looked soft and guess what it was soft. To borrow WAT's mantra there's NO EXCUSE  :banghead :banghead but if you think it's OK then good for you
