yep every player we recruit is rubbish, every coach we hire cant coach, every asisstant coach we recruit cant teach. etc etc

every draw we get handed is tough, every ground we play on is tough. its all a load of scata

Its a disease and the only player in the last 20 years, that ive seen that hasnt inherited it at any stage of their career is Cotch.

It was a lack of belief from the coach that had Cotch sitting on the pine in the last minute of the most important match of the year, newman not in the backline and our players not playing man on man

you change losing culture  simply by winning. you win when you have enough players capable of winning.
your looking for answers well the most obvious one is right there staring at you.
 
the 22 who played were not good  enough plain and simple.that 22 wont win you games  against most sides. without a doubt the single biggest problem at the club atm is depth  we just dont have any.
we dont even have a good best 22 the bottom 5 or 6 fall away dranatically but we are forced to play them.

foley, martin, king, grimes, maric a fit ad in form vickery, griffiths and you become competetive against most sides. without them your just another also ran.

Fix this culture issue and we won't except underperformed hacks that have been there too long and haven't improved.   - recruit well and we wont have a shedload of hacks
Fix this culture issue and players we recruit won't all of a sudden forget how to kick. -  recruit well and we will have players with good skills.
Fix this culture issue and we don't lose to a team that hadn't won a game. - recruit well and we wont regularly drop games we shouldnt. all sides drop the odd surprise game.
Fix this culture issue and we make finals regardless of how many injuries we may have.  - recruit well and we will build our depth

not wrong imo. its all about the cattle you have and how well you recruit.
lets just say we all agree at the end of 09 we had just 10 long term keepers a lot of us were saying similar.  so from a terribly low  base of 10 how long do you think it should take to build a premiership side. 5 yrs 7 yrs 10 yrs.how long. a damn sight more than 3 im sure you would agree.

what are you saying we should not only be able to turn our list around in a short time but change our culture what ever that is.

winning culture is one thing only, winning games.  winning only happens when you have enough good players to achieve it. we have fallen away because the players who have come in are not good enough or players have reverted back to their natural level.
i can tell ya now malthouse sheedy clarkson any coach at any other club would struggle to win games with us because of one thing. we dont have the players who are capable of winning on a consistent basis. but we are getting them albeit slowly.
