From TWR: "Henry Slattery says there's a lot of Bomber players at the club that don't know what's happening and are in a bit of limbo at the moment"

That's because Essendon are making it all up as they go :yep.

Slattery also said he would love to play with Port Adelaide as he followed them as a kid.

Sounds like brisbane after Fev got there.

Brent Moloney's manager Bruce Kaidler says it is highly unlikely the ex-Demon will end up at Essendon, given Brendon Goddard's decision to join the club on Monday.

Tippett holding up other deals including Moloney. Kaidler said his two Port Adelaide free agents, Steven Salopek and Jacob Surjan in a similar boat to Moloney.

It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

I promised myself that this year, after the GF, I would take a sabbatical from all things footy......but this years trade/draft period looms as one of the most intriguing ever. :help

Carlton is showing surprising interest in Melbourne's 2008 No 1 national draft selection Jack Watts.

Carlton has also expressed interest in out-of-contract Essendon forward Scott Gumbleton.

Melbourne is prepared to trade athletic ruckman Stefan Martin.

St Kilda is also chasing a ruckman, but has Gold Coast's Tom Hickey in its sights. Jon Giles, from Greater Western Sydney, is still unsigned.

Malthouse is happy with the current list is what I read and he wouldn't be getting involved with free agency..... :whistle :whistle

Why would any club be interested in Watts?

Yeap and he isn't getting involved in FA, they are getting involved in trades.  ;D

None of the players listed above are free agents. The only way any of them can move is via trade or going in the draft in they are uncontracted
