Why aren't we interested in Clinton Young?
That moment in the Grand Final where he went to ground too easily instead of rushing it through and gifted Jack that goal probably has turned a few clubs off him.

Agree with the above although I think that the event has caused clubs to scrutinize the videos of his past games too. In doing that they would have found a guy with a soft underbelly.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Can't be any softer than an Edwards, Nahas or Jackson for example.   Or Rodan for that matter who we are linked to. There are about five clubs after Young if you believe the papers.  He would have to be an upgrade over what we have and we could use an outside player who can kick the ball with some penetration.  Most of our outside players have average penetration with their kicks at best.

Jackson aint soft.  Young is softer than Edwards and probably on par with Nahas, who is much smaller. Young has a nice left boot but that's about it. Average player.

So GWS is now saying that they are willing to part with early draft picks in order to recruit older, experienced players. I thought that the mini-draft arrangements were designed for that same scenario....yet.....GWS 'played' the system to get the picks instead :banghead. I say to all clubs that they should force them to recruit more youngsters and use them (GWS) as a nursery for future free-agents. Without a spread of ages they will take a decade to be successful.

Or lets just give them Martin for picks 2, 3,12 and 13 :outtahere

Actually, I just posited a similar scenario on the Dusty thread  ;) I would only deal with them if we were to come out as winners in a big way: Tyson and picks 2 and 12....at the least.

I stopped reading at Edwards. Did he really say Jackson was soft?

Exchange 12 with 3 and ask for Taylor Adams as well and I'd have to sleep on it.

Dees give up pick 4 for Dawes. :ROTFL :ROTFL :ROTFL :ROTFL :ROTFL

This club is shamble after scandal after failure after stupidity after error.

Pies did extremely well out of this. Way to keep the Pies a top 4 side at best and a 5-8 side in transition.
