Jesse White as part of the Tippett deal  :o

Why can't we trade our spuds when other teams seem to be able to move theirs on??
I think because the players we were after were free agents and didn't require the trading of any of our Spuds. I'm sure had we gone after someone who was either on contract or a restricted Agent, we would have been trying to sweeten deals with all sorts of options at our disposal.

[tigerblitz]We don't have any spuds and if it weren't for contracts then clubs would be queuing up for our stars. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to field a second team, Richmond A or something, soon in the AFL before all the jets at the bottom of our list walk from lack of game time.[/tigerblitz]

Watch Richmond Vs Sydney again.

Angus Graham with a full body cramp would have played better.

6 big ones against Port. Straight as an arrow, bit like Owls pecker.

Geelong has done it again signing Caddy, McIntosh & Rivers.  All solid footballers (not stars) but good enough to make sure they remain super competitve.

From the Herald-Sun's Live Chat today:

Comment From Macca
Question is this. Will Richmond trade pick 9 to GWS for 12 & 13?

Gilbert Gardiner:
nice work Macca... finger on the pulse!! whispers floating about that Tigers warming to that idea... in reality, not much diff between 9 and 12-13 so to have two top-liners for the price of one...

Comment From rombosghost
Is Macca on the money? I like the look of that deal. Was it GWS' idea?

GIlbert Gardiner:
originally floated as part of a proposed Dom Tyson trade but word is Tigers warming to the idea.

-------------------------------------------------------

Comment From TigerTiger
Have you heard about Jared Moore from Sydney to Richmond as a mature rookie? Looks adone deal. Also Richmond looking at Vlastuin in the draft so that rumour of 12 and 14 for Pick 9 could be a goer.

GIlbert Gardiner:
interesting... would be Moore's last chance.
solid ressies player.

-------------------------------------------------------

Comment From Tiger321
Any truth to Axel Foley and pick 9 to gws for pick 2 & 12???

GIlbert Gardiner:
would be a risk coming off Achilles injury, re-signed with the club.

--------------------------------------------------------

Comment From someguy
as opposed to big name de-listings, will there be any little names getting the chop?

GIlbert Gardiner:
North have aired a couple who loom as delistings... Richmond probably should delist Dan Jackson...

don't get me wrong, Jackson is a great clubman, but think the Tiges have gone past him.

Comment From Tony
Why tell a kid to do his homework when you don't even know that delisted players are automatically free agents? Why do you think a player who couldn't get a game for Port will be an asset for North and is worth a player and a pick? Why do you say 'nothing's come across our desk' when any journo worth his salt is out there hunting stories? Now you say Richmond should delist Jackson?! Do you have ANY idea?

GIlbert Gardiner:
cheers Tony,

Jackson played 80odd per cent of game time, averaged 18 disposals at 69 per cent efficiency despite about 70 per cent of disposals being uncontested. While delist might be harsh, trade is certainly not out of the question.

Tigers going past him in leaps and bounds.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Comment From Joe
With the other Matt White in the news, are there any takers on the Richmond variety?

GIlbert Gardiner:
nah not really.. not a lot of interest to and from Tigerland.

--------------------------------------------------------

Comment From Joe
Karnzis? there was a rumor he was looking at a trade, has there been anything else mentioned on this?

Gilbert Gardiner:
nothing but rumour... talked about but not a lot of movement.

---------------------------------------------------------

Comment From FRED
hi jay why are you ignoring the richmond questions

Jay Clark:
Fred, Looks like Tigers are done mate. been busy already. Linked to D Rodan and M Thomas but if they happen it will be done late.

I would do it in a heart beat. we loose 3 places but would pick up two great players for the price of 1. You could throw a blanket over the selections basically from 7 to 20 so if we do our due diligence we wont have any dramas picking up two good kids....
