They can't lose any good tall defenders, especially their best one.

Yes they can, this will enable them to re-sign Jason Blake  ;D

Sorry folks

"MASSIVE let down!

Basil Zempilas had us believe it was an AFL player, turns out it was a A League player for the Perth Glory!

Well, false alarm folks, Freo and West Coast fans, you may now breathe a sigh of relief!!"

I agree Fisher is a good player but probably isn't worth pick 2, worth a first rounder but not pick 2. So if GWS are prepared to part with that and the saints need to start looking at rebuilding then I'd take the deal.

Win/win for both teams

Jay Clark on the Herald-Sun live chat said GWS offered Pick 2 for Sam Fisher but St Kilda said no.

Mixed messages from the media:

The Age says Clinton Young has joined Collingwood as a free agent

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/hawks-star-joins-magpies-20121018-27uhy.html

while the Herald-Sun says he hasn't made up his mind and that Collingwood has said it is out of the race for Young, but the Hawks still believe he could join the Magpies.

Patrick Karnezis is the only Lion to have requested a trade, but Brisbane's national talent manager Rob Kerr said he was a required player and would stay for another season.

Essendon unrestricted free agent David Hille is yet to commit to another one-year deal with the Dons.

Bomber forward Scott Gumbleton has a week to weigh up his options to stay, or join the Western Bulldogs.

Geelong have done well out of this draft

I reckon had we licked up H Bone and J Rivers this board would've literally gone into meltdown.

I reckon by Geelong getting McIntosh they have done well. Geelong struggled in the ruck last season. They have Vardy for the future. They have topped up in the way Sydney does

Can't understand how Collingwoo has done so well.

Lynch, Pick 20 and now Young.

Rorting the cap like the cheats?
