If it's just a patella dislocation then it will be only 1-2 weeks for inflammation and precautionary.

Was pretty injury prone before we got him anyway.

It's hard to maintain a stable side with all these injuries. It's going to test our depth.

All the best to Knightsy. You're right Owl, he was finding his rhythm and becoming a good addition for us. Touchwood it's not a season ending injury.

It's a shame. But I think we can replace him. Good news Knights is ok though.  :whistle

Wasn't too far from it and it looked horrible.

His on crutches walking around the airport

Not sure but if it was an acl I wouldn't have thought he would be up and about leaving so soon

Doc Larkins just said on Ch 7 if there's no bone shift then Knights will be out 'only' for 4-6 weeks; it'll be longer if there's bone shift.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the AFL website:

The prognosis of Chris Knights' knee injury was a little more dire, with it believed he tore the patella tendon of his right knee during the second term.

No timeline to his absence was given but the club expected it to be a "long-term" injury.

if its classed as "long-term injury" doesn't that mean we can elevate a rookie.
