Only had about 4,000 less at the Carlton game than Collingwood got. Pies was a home game while we were an away game where we outnumbered the home team.  :shh

You'd think the Malthouse/Buckley factor would push it close to 90k but no.

The cuzz v judas game pulled 88k. I put it down to Blooze fans not attending. Looked to be about 55,000 Collingwood supporters.

If we win this week against the doggies lock in 90k+ against the pies the following week.

wont make a difference, they'll expect to bounce back and will be desperate to not lose 2 in a row, plus its our home game so stuff em. plenty of tiger and neutrals will want to see it.

R20 Fri 21 July 2000 Carlton v Essendon 91571

And that was the only one I could find - all the rest were public holiday games or finals.

And for all the War Machine's gobbing off about Big 4 clubs, we hold the 2nd highest attendance ever for an ANZAC Day crowd - 92436 in 1977 v Collingwood, way before it got the AFL support and promotion as a marquee game.  Only crowd bigger was Essendon v Collingwood - 94825 in 1995.

Should be 8k ahead of last year in a couple of days. 61,000 is our minimum target but if we keep winning we may get to 65,000
