The guy is bad news, main reason Port is where they have been for the last couple of years is because of him.

Could also attribute their run if fials and premiership to none other than choco, their current plight is attributed to being destitute, a club running on smel of an oily rag, since their peak at PA their quality people have been pillaged by hawthorn and more recently richmond leaving them with scrapings from bottom of barrel

Nope, you forget we gave them gun players such as Schulz and rodan.

He has to take some blame.

Well there you go then he has an eye for talent like hugh hefner :shh

Mark Williams is responsible for perhaps the greatest trade in history. Jay Schulz for Mitch Farmer and a blonde wig. What a raping they gave us there

Uuuummmm, why Choco ?

Realistically what can Willaims bring to the table that someone such as a Richardson couldn't in a development role ?

A destablising influence & divisive figure perhaps ?

Too many ex-Port peolple already at RFC - Hardwick, Lade, Hartley & perhaps Chaplan.

RFC certainly needed a culture change - but to Port - no thanks !

Would prefer a blend of Hawks & Geelongs game plan & culture from the last 5 years.
Why?
Because he's a no nonsense hard case that's why.

He's been in footy for a long time, hes seen it all and more importantly he's won the ultimate prize.
From all reports he's fantastic at development.
I think this is a great decision.
Well done Benny Gale and Hardwick.  :thumbsup

Ch 7 just said it's official. Mark Williams off to Richmond.

They showed Sheedy in his press conference saying Williams wanted to go to another club and they couldn't stand in his way.

yeah that was him good ole danny boy

and we got guns like Mitch Farmer and Nason. Whats your point

It seems your clutching at straws. Ooh no god for bid we have someone who will add a bit of hardness.

Get over it, the deal is done, go whinge elsewhere.

Support for Choc is alive and well.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

I dont doubt his credentials, just his legacy at Port.

Choco was the prime mover in the 'me-first' culture that existed under his stewardship, and is still afflicting that club today.

I personally think you can import a poor culture and that the current Port influence is sufficient at RFC, and that a greater spread of success (eg from Geelong & Sydney & Collingscum) is needed to provide the balance to feed an emergent & unique 21st Century Tigers credos.
