Our best footy can beat Geelong however we've only seen our best footy in small patches so far this year - 2nd qtr vs Carl, most of the Bulldogs game (who were non-competitive) and 1st qtr against Freo. On our current from, there'll be one or more quarters where our workrate and intensity on and off the ball will be virtually non-existent  :help and that'll allow Geelong to cut us open with their new found leg speed and spread  :-\. If there was ever a time we can and need to put together a full four-quarter effort to win and make a statement to our critics in the media, it is this Saturday night!
Agree. A win would bring credibility and confidence to the team

The bookies are clearly reflecting Geelong being 5-0 and the fact we haven't beaten them for 7 years  :P.

Richmond    $3.05
Geelong      $1.38

Definitely will have to be at best to beat them. Geelong seem to overuse in the ball in the middle and thus we need to apply enormous pressure to prevent them from running through the middle. Also need Jack to run Taylor ragged

Really should have beaten them last year down the highway.

Still not confident

my biggest concern is how we back up after a tough game on a the large sandy surface of subi, followed by a compromised recovery.

if this has any real influence there is the possibility to get ugly, resulting in the chicken littles screaming that nothing has changed and calling for hardwicks scalp.

It will also draw jackstar back like flies to a turd.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Why has it been a compromised recovery?

3 hours ( or whatever it is exactly) sitting on a plane rather than the ice baths massages exercises and/or whatever they would normally be doing

Also need Jack to run Taylor ragged

That ain't gunna happen.  Apart from any attitudinal aspect, Jack does not have the aerobic capacity of a Richo.
