2k14- NBA 2k14. People generally refer to 2K's basketball games by their year, 2k12, 2k13, 2k14 etc.
VC-  Virtual Currency. You can earn VC in 2k's games but naturally they make it hard, encouraging you to buy it with real money.
FUT- Fifa Ultimate Team. The most popular game mode in Fifa which is based on earning coins for playing games and using those coins to buy packs (like a pack of cards) which will contain everything from players to uniforms to consumables.
Trophies- Playstation equivalent to gamerscore (achievement points) on Xbox

Smokey, I think you missed the exit which was the second door back on your left. Don't go through the door on your right unless you want to be blown away with sheer awesomeness as it is the science thread and avoid opening the padded door down the end of the corridor, the one with newspapers piled up at its entrance and bunch of cats running about, as I think you know who is in there.... Good place if you want a quick nap though.....

The VC is the only way to upgrade skills. But in 2k14 they also made it a requirement in GM mode which peed everyone off.

I could of swore there was a way around it? Or maybe it was just more annoying online? Oh well I'll cross that bridge when I come to it

Pre ordered Destiny to get my hands on the beta test. Missed out on the alpha one so looking forward to giving it a go!

I preordered the day I ordered my ps4 last year and still haven't got a beta code. I upgraded to limited edition version today and will ask them when I go in store tomorrow night.

Mine wouldn't work. "Code already in use"

I did a quick google search last night seeing how people got their codes and lots of people having issues with it already in use. From what I understand the beta testing is capped and the codes are first in, best dressed. Either they stop accepting codes at a certain point or they duplicate some keys. I've ruined the experience of a few games after beta testing them. So no fuss if I can't. I look forward to opening the box at launch and checking it out for the first time

EB Southland printed me out a beta code tonight. Just checked my email and EB World sent me a code today too. I have two now lol. I entered one into the redemption part of the Bungie site and now it says I will be emailed a code when they become available. Is that the process you did?

Yep did it on the bungie site after linking my PSN with it and when I entered the code told me it's already been used. Got another one at the lady at JB told me not to put it in until the release because it can't be used before then . I did read that you put that code in and get sent another so the fact you had the same thing makes me even more sure she was wrong. I got a new code so I'll give that a whirl

No worries. I noticed you can put in more than one code so I put both of mine in to double my chances. If I do end up getting sent two keys and you're still having trouble then I'll send you one.

I got a beta code offer but it isn't available until 17th. They givr 3 codes so I'll definitely have a spare.
