Everything falling into place for Liverpool with Chelsea losing at home to bottom-placed Sunderland.

Unfortunately from an Aussie point of view, Mark Schwarzer, in his League debut for Chelsea, cost them a goal.

Chelsea   1 - 2   Sunderland
Tottenham   3 - 1   Fulham
Aston Villa   0 - 0   Southampton
Cardiff City   1 - 1   Stoke
Newcastle    1 - 2   Swansea
West Ham   0 - 1   Crystal Palace

Netherlands coach, Louis van Gaal, has reached a deal to join Manchester United as manager after the World Cup, replacing sacked David Moyes, a Dutch newspaper report said on Saturday.
