First weekend of the new EPL season.

Burnley knocked off Chelsea, Liverpool held 3-3 by Watford, while Rooney scored on his return to Everton.

Mooy played his part in Huddersfield 3-0 win over Palace. Set up the first two goals (from a corner & then a cross).

Lacazette paying off already for Arsenal. I was really hoping we would make a play for him. I saw it coming, Tuchel leaving and the band is breaking up. Dembele and Mor about to leave if they haven't already and Aubameyang will most likely be gone one of the next two windows. If the results don't go our way which I'm expecting under the new manager then I wouldn't be surprised if even Reus finally gives in to offers. Lacazette was the perfect fit and we had the money to outbid anyone.

Only in Denmark  ;D

Incredible pic from last night's Danish Superliga match between Hobro IK and FC Copenhagen.

With a temp of -4C, the Hobro club sponsor raffled the chance to watch the game pitch-side in a jacuzzi with beers. ❄️⚽️🍺

Liverpool has claimed 4th spot after flogging Brighton 4-0. Could have been 8 if not for Matty Ryan.

Premiership: Man City.
Champions League: Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool.
Europa: Chelsea, Arsenal.
Relegated: Swansea, WBA, Stoke.
Promoted: Wolves, Cardiff City, plus the playoff winner (from Fulham, Derby, Villa or Middlesbrough).

Karius receiving death threats and other sick threats on social media after his two howlers in the CL final.

I know I said this around the same time last year and got blamed for jinxing them  but ...

Dare I say it this early in the season but this Liverpool side is the first in about 20 years that looks like it could win the league title.

A race in 3 for the title by the look of it with Man City and Chelsea.

Savage. BVB 4-0 over Atletico. Undefeated and only two draws in all comps since Favre took over. I was the least confident coming into this season than any previous. Definitely an era of the yellow and black  :cheers
