Arsenal shat the bed
Hope it’s not the beginning of the end
Arsenal have still got a game in hand and will be playing bottom half sides for the next 6 weeks, but they handed Man City that win overnight by missing chances and then gifting a goal through a schoolboy error at the other end.

The VAR circus against Brentford was worse than the debacle we put up with in the final against Brisbane

Need to keep on winning now .. pressure is on

Man City dropped points at Forest. So, a bonus for the Gunners. Fortunately, Jorginho's screamer (unlucky goalkicker OG to be fair) made up for Odegaard missing a complete sitter. Arsenal just need to take the 3 points no matter how and move on to the next game.

Important point for the Hammers but Arsenal's last two draws has now opened the door for Man City. The title probably decided in ten days time in Manchester.

ps. It must have been the weekend for Yellow and Black teams stuffing up committing multiple brainfades :P. Dortmund 2-0 up against 10-man relegation-zone Stuttgart drew 3-3. How do you concede 3 goals in the last 20 mins against a bottom side who has less players on the pitch?! :facepalm

Arsenal and Richmond must be swapping notes at the moment on how to commit the dumbest brainfades that cost goals. Ramsdale overnight did a Balta against the Swans.

Ange Postecoglou is a surprise inclusion on the shortlist of candidates to become Chelsea’s next head coach, though the club are leaning towards offering the job to Mauricio Pochettino.

Yeah, cos Steven Gerrard did so brilliantly at Aston Villa after winning everything at Rangers. Love Scotland, but the league is a mickey mouse one. If you're Celtic manager it's a mini mouse league.

Agree Scotland is effectively a two team league but Gerrard only won one title in 3.5 years at Rangers. That's an ordinary return for any Old Firm manager. Not saying Ange should go to Chelsea but in less than 2 years at Celtic he's won 2 league titles, 2 league cups and is a chance to win the treble. Ange has had success wherever he has coached.

As for the EPL, Man City just too good. De Bruyne is a freak. In the other games, Liverpool lucky to get all 3 points in the end. Should have been a late penalty to West Ham.

Must be the season of Yellow and Black teams not converting their attacking chances onto the scoreboard :P. Dortmund just threw away the Bundesliga title on the last day once again to Bayern.

At least it was a good night for the Aussies. Sam Kerr's Chelsea won the English league title while Ange and Aaron Mooy got to hold up another Scottish League premiership trophy at Celtic.

That's one heck of a volley. Could teach a few AFL players and especially a few Tigers that if you run in a straight line and kick straight through the centre of mass of the ball with a drop punt then the ball will go straight.

In the A-league GF, Central Coast flogged City 6-1 :o.

Been to quite a few games at Kenilworth Road. They don't make 'em like that anymore. One of the great stories - from non-league back to the big time inside a decade. I remember the chants when the league was rooting them over a barrel and handing out 30 point deductions to guarantee relegations:

30 points,
Who gives a f**k!
We're Luton Town
And we're staying up!

Up the hatters!

I'm well aware of the "charm" of Kenilworth Road. :shh

Is the club still run by that Thatcherite Tory?  :shh :shh

Tottenham now close to appointing Ange Postecoglou as new boss. Deal for Celtic manager to make #THFC switch is expected to be finalised in coming days. 57yo Australian has emerged as stand-out candidate from recruitment process.
