Not sure if they have the depth to stay top until May and win it, but you can't rule out any team managed by Ange.

They don’t. Not even close.
And I’m happy to rule them out
Yep, Spurs are gonski now. Key injuries and now back-to-back losses.

Gunners up to second now. Although, it's going to be hard seeing anyone topple Man City for the title.

A can of worms has been opened up in the EPL.

Everton receive immediate 10-point Premier League deduction for financial rules breach

What it means for Man City, Chelsea

Stefan Borson, a lawyer who has advised City, believes the decision sets an ominous precedent.

“10 points for Everton feels harsh for a straightforward FFP breach to me. But reinforces that sanctions against City (if proven) and now Chelsea (if charged and admitted on the off-books payments) will be potentially relegation inducing,” he tweeted.

Leeds, Leicester, Burnley to sue

The now 19th-ranked club is also facing legal threats from three other clubs.

Leeds and Leicester – who were relegated from the Premier League last season after Everton survived in 17th place by two points – and Burnley – which believes Everton’s spending breached financial rules the previous season when they were relegated – are reportedly joining forces to sue the Toffees.

I can't remember the last time a player got a hattrick of off-side 'goals' (Son) lol. Sadly for Ange, Spurs have nothing below their first-choice 11 especially defensively. Mind you Villa are doing well this season. They are now into the top 4.

Who would've thought Villa would be a contender :o. Mind you it one of those games where Arsenal couldn't put the ball into the back of the net and when they eventually did it was disallowed.

LOL at Man U losing 0-3 at home to Bournemouth. The team was booed off the pitch by their own fans. Ten Hag won't last much longer if that continues.

Meanwhile, Liverpool goes about its business and now the latest team on top. It's become a very open season. A race of four now.

Football’s lawmakers have recommended the trialling of sin bins in the professional game as part of a groundbreaking bid to clamp down on player misbehaviour.

Temporary dismissals of players for offences such as dissent and tactical fouls were backed by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) at its annual business meeting in London.

I can't think of a closer EPL season with as many teams still in the title hunt at Christmas. Man City didn't play but it could be that just 4 points separates the top 5. For the record, I don't see Spurs nor Villa winning it but the other 3 keeping dropping points to keep all 5 in it.

Hammers up to sixth, so Dio will be having a happy Xmas. Man U fans on social media with a mixture of part meltdown and part acceptance that they're now just a middle-of-the-road crap side is quite funny :lol.

That handball by Odegaard is a tough one. I'd say pen but VAR has totally and utterly ruined the handball rule that no one has a clue what it is anymore
https://twitter.com/markgoldbridge/status/1738619653616701864

He slipped so it wasn't deliberate handball, but I was still surprised it wasn't given a pen as I didn't think slipping over was an excuse. VAR is Russian roulette.

Not a good night for north London. Spurs have their obvious probs, but I'm scratching my head how you can have 30 shots and not score as Arsenal did. Liverpool must be rubbing their hands with glee. Opens the door also for Man City to go past everyone after their midseason slump.

While I hope not, the title now looks like it's down to a two horse race - Liverpool or Man City.

Mind you this EPL season has been one of surprises so far. Hopefully I'm wrong and there's a few more plot twists to come.
