We have beaten the GF Finalists 2 years in a row, shows we are on track and that our best footy is good enough.

We need to take this on board in the pre season and show we mean business. That is what I want to see in 2014, none of this mucking around at training as pictured most if the time. Watching clips of the Hawks, Geelong s and Freo training showed how professional they were as units.

Must say I didn't think Birchell was that impressive today, he butchered a number of kicks and his kicking is his strength. Would have given him 5/10

But certainly agree about Gunston. Gunston showed today that losing Buddy won't hurt the Hawks that much

we must have been watching a different game then WP. Birchall had a terrible clanger from what i remember but was one of the best, im sure of that.

Breaks the lines nicely and is a 2 time premiership player.

As i have said you need to be bold at the trade table to win flags.

Gunston, Lake, Burgoyne. Thats what i call being brave. Gunston was a top 20 pick they gave up and he hardly played a game for the crows.

We need to throw grigg, edwards, white, jackson off in this draft and see who bites.

we need a quality tall and small mid. Mcguane edwards x 2, king, white are not going to win you flags

Gunston played a fair few games for the crows in his final season

I would take anyone over Grigg I haven't hidden my dislike for him as player. He would never get a game at either Hawthorn or Freo for that matter

Just giving my view on Birchalls game, just didn't think he was that good. Understand the stats tell another story.

Personally I thought Cyril Rioli's game was brilliant, his defensive pressure was amazing. The little 1%ers are what I love! have never hidden that fact

Morton played his role and played it well. Grigg is our main wingman who is anything but silky smooth.

are you serious they said his a dud    said to my hawks mate that Gunston would play a huge role yesterday because his under the radar & always does damage. l reckon he was BOG but that's just my opinion. Have to admit l did not really take much notice of Lake as l was watching Crowley & Mitch more.
