I noticed the lack of positive affirmation in that comment.  :lol

Geelong has axed Josh Hunt.

Hunt on seeking another opportunity: Yeah for sure. I think if I was falling apart of my form was bad but the fact I feel really good...

We all talk about the "Geelong model," players staying for less money than they can get on the open market,  to be apart of the next premiership. But for the player, that's only for as long as the club wants you. Chappy and now Josh Hunt with more to come apparently.
Just like every other industry, it doesn't matter how much service or sacrifice you give your employer, you are just a number.
It's sad to see your favorite players leave but why shouldn't a player look after themselves first!
Take the money a Buddy.

I suppose it depends on what the player rates higher.
Buddy has two premierships so yeah, why not take the money. Same as ablett. They have made their personal sacrifices and tasted team success.

But if a player is the type to always put their own self interests above the team, then it is unlikely they will contribute to too much success anyway, so it would be good riddance
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Anything is possible when you don't have Dan 'The disaster' Richardson as your list manager.

@barrettdamian says J-Pod's chances of being at Geelong next year are as little as 20% and says Taylor Hunt is one who could be squeezed out of Geelong.

Rumours now have Dale Thomas leaving Collingwood again as the Pies have changed their "Thomo's Team 13" junior memberships to another name.

Hawthorn are set to make Thomas an offer.

Carlton have upped their offer in the last 24 hours and is at Visy Park today.

Heath Shaw's manager Ben Niall has said he Shaw is open to moving interstate if the right deal comes along.

Lol @ Collingwood fans thinking they can get pick 2 for a 28 year old who doesn't want to be at the club and that Collingwood doesn't want anymore.

The Pies got a first rounder for Dawes off Melbourne (which enabled them to get Grundy) so perhaps they are hoping the Dees will be just as stupid giving up another first rounder for another Pie reject.
