Just refresh my memory which laws he has broken.

Who Jake, Toby or Both?

Demetriou's comments are plainly wrong. The AFL does not have the power to determine who a player associates with. It seems to me by making such comments that he is not only extremely arrogant but power hungry.

Just checking because Toby was supposed to face the County Court this month for some case that was adjourned last Sept/Oct  ;D

Understand your point but I think that maybe they do have power? Look at Ben Cousins - they de-registered him for 12 months not because he failed any drug tests or anything but simply because they did have the power to do it. They couldn't prove anything but clearly didn't like what he was doing, who he was associating with so they flicked him out of the game for 12 months

This is a difficult situation and by no means clear cut.
Let's suppose Demetriou's right hand man was having meetings with bikie gang chiefs.  Vlad could ask him to stop as it looks bad for the afl. If he didn't, we could all understand why his position may be terminated. None of us here would probably disagree with the decision......
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

and in the meantime Marley Williams is found guilty of grievous bodily harm, but lets focus on the story that will 'trend'  :clapping

Like you I only heard what they replayed on SEN but Kochie certainly went WHACK  ;D

Have to say it's always a bit of worry when you have Andy Maher in your corner and he is backing Jake big time ...is that a good thing?  ;D

Easy for Koch to be a tough guy in hypothetical situations.

Hope for him there are no skeletons in the Port closet. Would love to see what happens if Wingard's best mate ends up in court for something.

Kingy needs to find some new friends until his career ends in a year or two. Then he can do as he pleases.

I have said what I wanted to say regarding this issue, then a pelican like you pops up with a pathetic comment like this "Kingy needs to find some new friends until his career ends in a year or two. Then he can do as he pleases."

Really, are you serious?? How would you feel if you were told you couldn't see a member of your family, life long friend or your spouse (male or female, who knows with you) because of some rubbish opinion from someone that does not have a clue about you or your friend???

Perhaps the original "Well thought out , eloquent and intelligent response" from you wasn't that smart. :wallywink
