Thought Hammer was good last night
First use of ball compared to previous week

Maric played the same as Hampson has all year. Dominated the taps but didn't touch the ball around the ground. Funny how you can rate two identical games completely different. Perhaps trying to save face? Or troll?

Hampson had 2 more marks and 6 more possessions than Ivan had the previous week
If you watch the game
Centre bounce clearances last night were due to first use of ball
Don't let your hatered for a player cloud your views
Would have Hammer first ruck every week
And funny enough , players actually do as well

Hammer took 2 more marks than usual and doubled his possessions. Good on him. If you actually attended games instead of watching them on the TV you'd see how little he covers the ground

The holding the ball he,  just stops and waits for a while... Then works out te earth is continuing to rotate so he pretend to handball like he's having a fit

The match winning goal, he should there with his hand on hips having a rest. The guy walked past him... He was not expecting the ball to come back into his area looked genuinely shocked. Cause es got the footballing iq of a fence post
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Tap work was good, took a telling mark in defense, interception was great that ended up in a goal and another handball through traffic that ended up in a goal, he had another good game. :thumbsup

Dont hate him and I've agreed as a tap ruckman he is our best option

But if all you can come up with is his stats are better than Ivan's then you are avoiding the the question.

Outside of his tap work what does he give us exactly? I'd argue very little and that's the issue here. Go and watch the other top ruckmen in the comp and see what else they give week in and week oit and you'll clearly see how far of that pace Hampson is.

true he did get first touch of the ball 45 times but half of them went to the Bulldog midfielders. The last quarter was telling.
Seriously his awareness of his own players should have red hats & red noses on

Funny, I was in row A aisle 45 and not a lot going on in the other aisles in terms of people turning up? Hampson getting a game means absolutely nothing. Reece will play next week as will Hunt and Ellis. Geez they must be good players too
