Whos was the blocked midfielder, Moore?

As you usually have one player behind the ruckman which was Cotch
Don't know why Dusty ran there
Cotch is there for the handball backward not the tap

Bounce favoured him and gave him more than enough time to see where everyone was and that there was only a Collingwood player in the space he tapped it to.... is clearly too slow of mind and reflex....

What you don't think that Richmond mid should have been in front and there instead of getting blocked easily? Wouldn't that have been the set play?

Stats.... :lol

Yep who needs stats when you can see with your eyes how awesome Hammer is at his ruck work. Cotchin was beside himself when he found himself unopposed at the opening bounce, if only Hammer knew which team he played for

Have a look again, look at where the midfielder should have been and the ball lands, but instead he was blocked because he didn't get in front of the Pies player at the bounce, but hey you won't see that with blinkers on....

OMG  :facepalm

You realise midfielders can't set up in that centre circle right? Look at where the 3 Collingwood midfielders are set up. It's all well and good to say "Moore/Martin should have pushed past their man and got to the fall of the ball" but why should Hampson be exempt of any responsibility to tap it to our players advantage? Hampson tapped it right where Collingwood wanted it, in between the triangle of Collingwood mids. Allowed them to block for their skipper for the easy clearance. Just a reminder we were losing the clearances 11-1 at one stage. Talk about rose coloured glasses, you can't honestly defend that tap

Even when the bounce favours him he stuffs up the tap........

Contorts his body to tap it to the wrong spot. Made it much harder than it needed to be :lol

Maybe he can't tap it with his left hand.

Surely he was aware where Cotchin was ?

Didn't have to, was a perfect bounce for a deft touch to Cotchin.

Not sure. Hampson either has trouble knowing which way we're going or which team he plays for (thinking it's the latter) so good chance he had no idea he should've tapped it to Cotchin

Can confirm he definitely has trouble knowing which way we are going.

On the odd occasion he has actually got a kick has shaped up the wrong way

Also have it on good authority that grundy does not stand around in the middle of the ground with his hands on his knees, therefore he cant be trying hard enough if he isnt obviously knackered
