Owl, I pretty much have something squirreled away for all occasions. My Hard drive looks like Steptoe and Son's Back Yard but I can assure you the Golden Owl came off the same shelf that holds the Chivas Regal!  ;D

Thinking about the McMahon trade for pick 19. Terry Wallace on the left, Francis Jackson on the right

I think we should go for Hampson if we can get him cheap and the Doctor report is favourable.

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Francis Jackson had no say in that trade, Jackson has no say in any trades.

If it was up to Jackson we wouldn't have traded for McMahon.

Wallace wanted McMahon, Miller did the deal

Need to remember that Maric was coming from even further back, in footy circles, Lade is known as the ruck whisperer and under his tutelage he improved Maric from a two bit broken down bum floundering in the sanfl to one of the hottest tickets in town finishing top 3 in bf.

Hampson has something to work with and can take a grab just quietly, remember R1 he was clutching marks like I handle a melon :shh

If he is cheap we at least have a back-up ruckman.
I'd take Megan first!!
Not sure if he is the answer, he only played 6 games this year, if he were any good Mick would have played him more surely? Bad knees.....

Has more of a Trent Knobel feel

Hampson is better now than Knobel ever was.
not as a ruckman he aint.

what the stuff is going on down there.

we need a bona fide ruckman and  a bona fide kpf. hampson is neither. you just dont get what you need from him as a ruckman and you dont get what you need as a forward. hes an even poorer version of vickery except hes been around 2 yrs longer.
why not ask about robert warnock insted.
geez hampson  a  tall forward who doesnt take marks or kick goals  a ruckman who doesnt win many ruck contests. if this is all hartley can come up with its time to get a new man in the role.

why cant we go and get a pure ruckman and go and get a pure kpf. why do we always hedge our bets when it comes to talls.
elton vickery and mcbean are all hampson types. why.
