Claw has PMed his selection for Freo.

Pick 37. Cameron Conlon

Position:    Ruckman
Height:    198cm
Weight:    87kg
Born:    3/7/95
Home club:    Northern Knights

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/cameron-conlon
thanks oe.
cameron conlon is a bit of a risk  because of injury. didnt play tac this yr and only 10 or so games in 2012. before his injury though he was one of the most highly rated juniors in the land and would have imo gone top 10 without the injury.
at pick 37 i think it an acceptable risk.
i see him as a key forward rather than a ruckman.  if he fulfills his potential freo with him and marsh will have addressed their long term key forward needs in one go imo.

Carlton - Pick 39 - Jedd Clothier

Pumped that this kid is still available this deep into the draft. A tall inside mid who can go forward. Very fit with a beep test score of 14.7 in the combine. Should be a big-bodied bona fide midfielder.

Position: Midfielder
Height: 190cm
Weight: 84kg
Born: 4/5/95
Home club: Calder Cannons

2013 STATS
Comp   P   K*   H*   M*   G
U18s   5   11.0   5.2   5.2   2
TAC Cup   16   16.1   6.4   5.1   10

*Average
The inside word
An Essendon NSW Scholarship holder, Clothier is a strong inside midfielder who is a ball magnet and can also play as a bullocking lead-up forward. Packing excellent body strength and work rate, he can run all day, having registered a 14.7 beep test this year. Developed into a very good leader at Calder, while excelling at clearance work. He wins a lot of the footy through sheer competitiveness and is a diligent trainer who would thrive in an AFL environment.

Pick 40 - Melbourne

Michael Apeness (Eastern Ranges)

Position: Ruckman

Age: 18
Ht: 199cm
Wt: 101kg

Melbourne are absolutely rapt to have landed Apeness as we look to find a young ruckman for the future. Aggressive and competitive ruckman who consistently gets his hand to the ball, providing his midfielders with first use. Has strong hands overhead and can be dangerous playing as a tall forward. Comes from a rugby background. Melbourne are very surprised Apeness is still available and have fallen in love with his aggressive and competitiveness around the contests.

Good pick up at no.40 mate

He is! Wouldn't mind Richmond taking him actually!

McBean will be a forward and Vickery will be a forward (80%) and ruckman (20%)

Hampson as Maric's back-up and why not have this player who is an animal/pitbull from reports and footage on our list?

18 years old and has a body of a 21-22 year old ruckman already?

Geelong - Selection #41 - Mitch Harvey

Position:Tall forward
Height:197cm
Weight:95kg
Born:17/8/95
Home club: North Adelaide

A really good get at 41. We are amazed that Mitch was still available at this selection. He will be a perfect addition to our tall forward brigade.

Pick 42 - Western Bulldogs

Jake Owen
Calder Cannons
DOB: 11/11/94
Ht: 191cm
Wt: 84 kgs

The inside word

Regarded as one of the best draft prospects from the Calder Cannons this year. Turned himself into a midfielder at 191cm and has a ferocious, borderline reckless attack on the football. Excellent mark for his size and can go forward to great effect, having kicked 18 goals in the TAC Cup. His ability to win the ball in contested situations and release from the stoppages puts his team mates into space regularly. A very talented, versatile player with a great work ethic.

From: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/jake-owen

The Bulldogs are confident they've picked up mid who can win his own ball as well as bring team mates into the game but can also rest up forward and kick a few goals
