From AFL web-site:

Watters sacked by Saints
Ashley Browne November 1, 2013 12:05 PM

ST KILDA coach Scott Watters is believed to have been sacked by the club.

Watters is believed to have been told his fate shortly after 11am on Friday morning in a meeting at the club.

He was coach for two seasons but 2013 was a poor season for the club with just five wins and reports of rifts between Watters and both senior players and the club's management.

Former Port Adelaide premiership coach Mark Williams, head of development at Richmond this year, is the strong favourite to be his replacement.

he was and going by what the Age was reporting 2 hours ago, Watters said he was safe in his job, had no issues with Pelchen etc

2-3 hours is a long time at St Kilda  ;D

Seriously though, a week before they commence pre-season they sack their coach.

They traded in players (eg Savage, Longer) after said players met with now sacked coach and buy into what said now sacked coach spruiked to them

What a rabble
