Well we do know the minimum kids drafted have to receive

But to answer your question I reckon $290-$320k a season with a few incentives for good measure

Really? I wouldn't be offering more than $400-500k for two years. Happy to put incentives in.

Bloke hasn't really done anything yet.

Isn't that just over minimum wage, for someone third year in system?

Being a 19 year old pick 12

Is the onus not on Richmond to pay him somewhat on potential , and develop him well? Seeing as we choose to draft the lad and are the ones coaching him every day

Whatever happens , it's a joke it has come down to the last few days of his contract expiry ... Shambles
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Well minimum wage for a listed player is about $80,000.

Average wage throughout the AFL is about $260,000+.

Don't think this blokes deserves anything above average yet. He's 'shown a bit' over a handful of games and that's literally all he has done.

Lennon will be gun for the next decade. If people can't already see that his skills, composure & decision making are all a class above the majority of our list then they're stuffing blind.  People expect us to identify & recruit talent yet even when we already have talent on our list we apparently can't see it's value.

Well minimum wage for a listed player is about $80,000.

That's  the base, they then get match payments on top of that

less than grigg ...

I don't know like you don't know what any players on

you knew what cotchin was on innit

lets play a game

what do you think hampson, chaplin, grigg are on p season?

I don't know what Cotchins on, can only go by what's reported

Just like you

As for the other 3 I don't know can only go by what's reported

fair enough

how much are those three reportedly on?

its of interest -  given the lennon contract hypothetical you were discussing moments ago...

good point bents

Il have a crack. Hampson 300-350k, grigg 350 and chaplin 350-400, knights retired 350

lennon doesnt deserve more than 260k though.  :help :help

Q. Are Richmond any closer to re signing Lennon?

Ben Waterworth (@bjwaterworth) - Not at this stage. The whole Lennon/Yarran/Blues/Tigers scenario could take the whole period

The Tigers' young forward Ben Lennon remains out of contract, with negotiations on the terms of a new deal yet to be concluded. While Richmond remains optimistic of re-signing him the fact he remains out of contract with the trade period now underway is surprising. No club is understood to have enquired about Lennon as a trade target on Monday at the opening of trades.

What is the timeline for us to get this done before we are at risk of him walking to draft?

His contract expires on the 31st of October, so I'd presume then.
