Makes me feel dirty saying it but there is something strangely satisfying about yelling 'Llllllllllloooyyyyyyyyddddddd' at the ground when he kicks a goal.

He hasn't taken a dive for.a free which is pleasing and reminiscent of the Lloyd name

nor does he pick off cheap concussions off the bounce, or grass clippings whilst enjoying a tight pain of shorts

Given the nature of afl it was going to be hard to us to replace n brown. Almost instantaneous I knew our list was in trouble for next 3-5 years cause brown (and Richo) were carrying an ordinary side. On the bright side deledio chimp Martin are talented and play well as forwards. With the development of miles vlastuin Conca we may have the luxury of playing them forward of the ball, finally. It seems hardwick has also worked out deledio is indeed a weapon in the forward half.

Jack is a unique beast. It's doubtful mcdonuts-Lennon-llyod-McBean will individually be as good as brown but at least we finally have some blokes with goal sense. Everyone's mate Shane Edwards has kicked a few this year and is reasonable set shot and front and square.. Just quietly.

It seems united are in for Vidal who is by all accounts a monster. Vidal-Herrera-mata would do justice to Keene schoolers gigs and co...

Vidal is apparently saying he is happy at Juventus

What's that got to do with Sam Lloyd?

He has a few tricks young Lloyd , a couple more than I gave him credit for, can take a very good grab and can take on his opponents in more than a straight line , not to mention he has a good leg on him

So did Nahas but that didn't make him a good footballer.

 ;D
'The helicopter', 'Figure Eights' and 'The flesh coloured wrist band' whilst impressive tricks were never going to give him much of an edge in footy

gotta be disappointing for mature recruits like lloyd and gordon to play such a small amount of senior footy. especially when we are screaming out for their types.

If history continues he won't do anything for a couple games and in about 5 weeks will kick another 3+

Don't believe we can play Lloyd & Gordon in the same side

Based on yesterday, Lloyd is ahead of Gordon in the pecking order. Took his opportunity yesterday and that's all you can ask.

Gordon on the other hand has taken his opportunities in his 2 NAB games so far - please keep your feet son

Lloyd is a clever footballer, safe mitts, sure kick and provides a good option when the others are well covered
