Benny G plays ruck.
Lennon a hit up hff
Lloyd or Lennon.
I'd take Lennon each & every day of the week.
Equally, I'd have played Butler over Morris.

These types of selection errors take the wind from your sails as they are easily avoidable mistakes.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I think Lennon has tremendous upside and hope he is selected next week.

I also think the reason we are 1-0 and not 0-1 is due to the final quarters of Lambert and Lloyd.

I would be playing Lloyd, Lennon and Rioli permanent F50 with Jack, Vickery and a resting mid in Lids/Martin.

Rioli is a project. Lennon is a great mid F50 prospect and really Lloyd is kicking enough goals and if he only pops up for 5mins/week but jags two goals every time I'm happy for him to stick around.

What's to say Lennon delivers the same or even better than Lloyd?

At this moment in time , I would suggest stats say Lloyd is more likely to deliver than Lennon.

Lloyd 25 goals in 21 games.
Lennon 8 goals in 16 games.

Unless my eyes were deceiving me - Lloyd  won the game for Richmond by kicking 2 crucial final quarter goals on Thursday. He did it on the big stage.

I was perplexed as anyone as to why Lennon was dropped before finals last year ( and Lloyd for that matter)  but the mail is he is lazy and doesn't do enough defensively.

Why not play both
because you can't have two players of the same type in the team, according to HRT?

Where specifically did I post that Al?

notice the question mark? that means it is a question, not a statement.

you seem to be posting that lloyd and lennon are the same type of player and lennon should be playing instead of lloyd?

Lloyd described his on-field role with the Tigers as “a mixture of everything”.

“It probably depends who we play,” he said.

“I trained hard, a lot in the pre-season on-ball, and if I have to stay at home down forward, I’ll stay at home down forward.

“Just wherever they tell me to go, I go.

“Cotch was getting a bit tired, Dusty was getting a bit tired, so I gave them a chop-out on-ball.”

It was the seventh time in Lloyd’s 21-game career with Richmond that he has kicked multiple goals in a match.

He now has a total 25 goals from those 21 games.

Sam Lloyd's presser today:

VIDEO: http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2016-03-29/lloyd-press-conference-march-29

------------------------------------------------------

Lloyd said the Tigers had taken confidence from overcoming the Blues despite not being at their best, and said he was pleased to contribute in a busy final term.

"I was pretty quiet and a few of the forwards were a bit quiet, but then we really needed to win it out of the midfield and get it down there for us to do our thing. It was good to get a couple of goals at the end there," he said.

After being dropped for last year's elimination final loss to North Melbourne, the 26-year-old said he was using the disappointment of missing out to push him in 2016.

"It was a long pre-season in the end and that bit of motivation helped.

"To play round one and get a bit of reward for having a good pre-season and not missing much of it was good, and to get the win and contribute a bit was a good thing, but now we've got to move

Okay, to specifically answer that question I was saying if you had to choose between either than I would "pick Lennon every day of the week" because his current output at least equals Lloyd (imv) and he has more upside given his age (also imv).
The question of playing both in the same side depends on the opposition we are playing.

why, do you see them as the same type of player?
