Richmond rookie Anthony Miles has been promoted to the Club’s senior playing list, putting him in the selection frame for Saturday’s game against his former team Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium.

Miles has consistently been among the best players in six appearances for Richmond’s VFL team this season.

The 22-year-old inside midfielder averages 30 disposals per game in the VFL.  He had a season-high 34 touches against Geelong at the ME Bank Centre’ Punt Road Oval in Round 7.

He has underlined his ability as a clearance specialist, averaging nine per game, to go with an average of five tackles, six marks, and 14 contested possessions.

Miles is a replacement on the Tigers’ senior playing list for Jake King, who recently was placed on the long-term injury list, due to a foot injury.

They finally have admitted, in this strange two weeks later kind of a way, they made a mistake not promoting him at the start of the year in front of a bloke that couldn't get an AFL last year.
Weak as p1zz.
Good luck to the kid, I like what he offers.... Stick it up their arse Anthony.

Symbolic of everything that's presently wrong at Richmond that Miles wasn't promoted as soon as King went down.

Can stay senior if we don't promote anyone else after round 11 or if we reelevate him to cover Astbury who is gorn.
