I'll ask you this Jack, who would you rather in the side Miles or Grigg? And if the answer is Miles then we are all wasting our time debating this. And if your answer is Grigg then we are wasting our time even talking.
Also such a general statement about lightly framed players is stupid. Or is that from your Albury mail?  :cheers

At this very moment Grigg
And that's why we are a " middle of the road " team
Grigg last game has saved him being dropped .at least for another week
I ask this question, we promote Lloyd and not Miles
Why ?
Lloyd as some size about him .Miles doesn't

Lloyd was drafted, no need for him to get promoted.

I agree with Jack on this a little. There are reasons why the giants let him go, there are reasons why he slipped through to the rookie draft to us, there are reasons why he has not been promoted to our main list. What these reasons are I am uncertain of but all these people can't all be wrong. Therefore I am not convinced that Richmond have made the big mistake that some think we have made by not promoting him.
Yes, history says that players can be overlooked for a long time before proving everyone wrong, but history is littered with junior stars that can't put it together in adulthood too.
I hope he makes it and am not saying he won't. He is from my area and I love seeing kids from up  here playing in the big time.

Is it the same reason Stephen Milne was a rookie or is it the same reason Dean Cox was a rookie or is it the same reason Matthew Boyd was a rookie?
Jack, the kid was on a list of basically all top 10 draft picks, and they have to delist people every year as the rules state. The point is they have to let some go.
Now us not putting him on our list is another RFC f#%k up IMO. Just because we didn't doesn't make it right, our ability to pick kids is putrid.
And you wanting Grigg in the side instead of a kid that has done everything possible this year is staggering! Or are you just taking your mail as gospel?

Sorry I meant to say we drafted Lloyd and Rookied Miles
I wonder why we do that

We did pick the kid, big tone, in the rookie draft when every other club had multiple chances to so before we did. We have promoted a tall to cover an injury to another tall. If Foley or someone similar went down, then maybe miles would have been promoted.

In my opinion he isn't up to it
Wasn't at GWS
Seen him play in twice in past month
Won't make it

Probably because we rated Lloyd more but what has that got to do with it? It doesn't mean we didn't rate Miles.
I'd be happy if you said, I don't think he is this or that but what you are saying is just because the Tigers didn't draft him and only rookied him, he is no good. Or even worse, he is a lightly framed player.
Anyway each to their own.  :thumbsup
