I hear you WP. $27 last year and add the additional $2.50 for ezy ticket and that's over $40 for a reserved seat for someone who has a 16 game membership with a reserved seat for home games and a 3121 membership to boot. They are bleeding us dry. Lucky my daughter isn't old enough to come. It is an absolute outrage this and daylight robbery.

However I choose to pay this but I can fully understand when some mates don't want to come to away games because they don't want to fork out excessively for seats unless they are sitting in YY or ZZ right up the back. Sitting in N29 BTW. :thumbsup

Yep I make the choice to Don, but when you are buying for the elderly it is expensive for them. Because on the cost of a seat there is no discount for pensioners. So what I was doing was only telling them the old price. Was working a treat until they found out  ;D

Think we are in either N28 or n29 can't remember  :P

I choose to stay home and scratch my rear

I choose to go to Dook's place and scratch his rear.

Footy is becoming nothing more than rorting the supporters so that the people inside the clubs can earn big money and give themselves nice lifestyles. Its a disgrace whats happening.

Me too.  And by ticketing I mean free flights from Darwin at that price.    ::)

Preview: Essendon v Richmond

The Dreamtime at the 'G clash shapes as a season-defining contest for both clubs.

RICHMOND restored some pride after a difficult season with a thumping win over Greater Western Sydney last week, and Jack Riewoldt kicked 11 goals. Riewoldt used to enjoy playing against the Bombers but in recent times has been well held by Jake Carlisle and Michael Hurley, and has only booted six goals in his past three games against Essendon. Having had their bye last week, the Bombers should enter the annual Dreamtime at the 'G game fresh and ready to go in what could be a season-shaping match for them after a tough start to the year.

WHERE AND WHEN: MCG, Saturday May 31, 7.45pm

LAST FIVE TIMES
R23, 2013, Richmond 15.14 (104) d Essendon 9.11 (65) at the MCG
R9, 2013, Essendon 13.13 (91) d Richmond 9.8 (62) at the MCG
R22, 2012, Richmond 13.24 (102) d Essendon 8.9 (57) at the MCG
R8, 2012, Essendon 19.14 (128) d Richmond 15.19 (109) at the MCG
R16, 2011, Essendon 15.15 (105) d Richmond 9.12 (66) at the MCG

THE SIX POINTS
1.  Despite their patchy form, the Bombers continue to find the ball, ranking second for total disposals this season. They average 406 a game.

2.  The Tigers will be looking to close down the Bombers' chip-chip style. Under Mark Thompson, the Bombers have taken more marks this season than any team with 1102.

3.  Alex Rance will be an important player as the Tigers look to hold Essendon to 10 or fewer goals for the seventh consecutive game. The Richmond defender was excellent last week with 21 disposals.

4.  Ben Lennon has taken no time showing his talent at the top level. Richmond's first draft pick last year kicked two goals on debut against Melbourne and had 16 disposals, including eight marks, against the Giants.

5. These contests are always hard for tipsters. Of their past 10 meetings, both clubs have won five apiece, with form generally no solid guide.

6. Fresh from his 36-dipsoal effort against the Giants last week, Dustin Martin is back in form. That's reflected in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Gatorade, where Martin has had successive rises in the past two weeks. He's ranked 80th in the competition now.

Prediction: Essendon by 12 points

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the marquee game between the Tigers and Bombers during the AFL’s celebrated Indigenous Round.

Richmond will soon unveil its 2014 Dreamtime guernsey, which features a unique Indigenous design that its players will wear especially for the match.

The Tigers’ VFL team also will play Essendon’s VFL team at 2pm on Saturday, May 31 at ME Bank Centre’s Punt Road Oval, in a curtain-raiser to this year’s Dreamtime at the ‘G clash.

Full details of activities during the Indigenous Round will soon be available on richmondfc.com.au.

Richmond has launched a limited number of Dreamtime Tiger memberships ahead of the annual ‘Dreamtime at the ‘G’ blockbuster against Essendon in Round 11.

Judging from his appearance just now on The Slobbo & Wimpley Show I'd suggest Michael Long is in dire need of a few long walks....not sure he'll make to the ground....
