this game will show where the Tigers are really at this season. l think we are better than Port & if we come away with the 4 points in a close battle,  then l will be more than happy.

 :gotigers

Do you honestly think that this game will show where we are at???? If we win... :huh :huh :huh

Port goal, out the middle and to the goal square, we would have gone pocket no doubt.

That centre bounce was a really poor setup from us.  I think it was Conca who was on the wrong side of his opponent.  The ball was never gonna go anywhere else but into the space that Port had created.

Good pressure, chase down and then a goal from the boys.  Port not getting a easy D50 clearance there!

And then TV takes a mark in front.  Too much to ask for him to kick the goal though.

Then Port goes coast to coast for the second time.  When will our guys learn to kill a marking contenst?

Good shepherd from Cotch on that goal to Dusty.  Lloyd running around the man on the mark looked so slow, but he got away with it.

Another marking contest that we couldn't kill that cost us another goal.  This time Morris.  He was on the boundary side of the contest and softly spoiled it back towards the middle of the ground.

Then Morris tries to break through a Sarge tackle, gets nailed and costs us another goal.

20 points at half time, squandering a 32 point lead...

The game is ours to lose again if we are hopeless enough....I think we are!!!  :gotigers

Last couple of goals cost us through silly errors, particularly that last goal.
On the positive side, our run and carry, chasing, tackling and marking have been great. Another 60 minutes of that type of intensity and the game is ours to win.
On the flip side, we have the ghost of North Melbourne hanging in the background....
