Oh dear :facepalm :facepalm

Just remembered how terrible this bloke is  :help
Yes it smacked of desperation rushing him back in but what did people expect he has not played in how long.
Still remains one i have little time for but ffs Ryan and Miller against Witts !!!!!!  who for at least the last two seasons has been dominant not just in the ruck.

Im more peeed off with the club playing kids out of their best roles and totally ignoring shocking list needs.

Oh while im at it do people actually ask why we are not kicking scores. Thing is if we continually play mids over natural fwds or refuse to play tall fwds then of course we will fail to kick scores. Can argue that for other areas of the ground as well.

Fmd Sonsie on a wing McIntosh and Short continually butchering the ball and making poo decisions never getting a critique.
Have to ask how many metres gained did poo his pants short have today and how much did he cost us as a flip side.

Yep its not 2017 - 20 anymore the game actually changed big time in 2019.

That they managed his minutes says (actually bellows) he shouldn't have played

Would have liked him to take that shot he tried to pass to Cotch but honestly what more can you expect from a guy first game in how many months off?

He needs match fitness. Seriously we started the 3rd quarter with Miller rucking against Witts ffs

We must be desperate to play a follower / on baller  with no match fitness who hasn’t played all year without a pre season.

Just another example of lowering standards across the board.
The club that keeps giving.

Ivan Soldo made a strong return to Richmond’s line-up in yesterday’s clash with Gold Coast at Marvel Stadium.

The robust ruckman, playing his first game for the year after recovering from plantar fasciitis, finished with 11 disposals, eight contested possessions, five marks, one goal, five score involvements and 14 hit-outs in a restricted 57 per cent time on the ground.

First half was average

2nd half was much better.

Actually thought in the 2nd qtr in particular Miller gave us alot more around the ground because of agility

Interim Richmond coach Andrew McQualter highly praised Soldo’s performance during his post-match press conference.

“I thought Soldo had a really, really big impact on the game,” McQualter said.

“He hasn’t played much footy this year. He had three weeks in-a-row (at VFL level) . . .

“I thought he was really consistent for us.

“Really pleased with his game of footy for him and for our team.”

Loved his game and thought he was the clear winner on the day. Looks super fit and agile which was surprising.
