Really worried about this game,  I know its only the NAB challenge but the scum moved the ball quite efficiently against the Cats. We really need to start the game well,  they have belief they can beat us no matter the team they have on the park so I think for the most part the game will be played between the ears by our guys, hopefully  they are switched on.

So what do we think if we lose this game??

We have another 21 games to get it right

Will be angry if we lose but I won't be saying it's all over for the season

I'm worried we haven't settled our forward half.

Griffiths or Vickery?
Morris forward?
Lack of time in the forward half for Lambert and Lloyd.

I'd play Lloyd round 1. He's not quick but he has more footy smarts and skill than the majority of his teammates.

Vickery needs to play 2s.

Play Butler - need speed.

I know what your saying but seriously after the big rebuilds and Hardwicks tenure don't you think by now we should be winning these games hands down against sides like this??? I mean when are we going to stop all the crap? God we played the rebuild, youth, development, structure and game plan card for years... When do we play the, we are a finals side card and bloody go into these games knowing we will and should win??

Enoughs enough. Win the bloody thing I say and win it big!!! Make a statement round one or prove all the doubters right and lose...I'm sick of hearing the same old Richmond line!!!!

here here.

These games should be won with our eyes closed if we want to be seen as a serious football side. Reality is with the likes of grigg and conca jumping up and down one one spot, we are anything but.

True but other sides also have been rebuilding and improving. I expect to win though and we should. They have a few champs like Judd and a fit Daisy Thomas, Murphy and Gibbs always play well against us and Yarran usually tears us up.  Even Jones plays well  against us. It won't be easy!

Exactly and we haven't? But why aren't we saying champs like Dusty, Delideo, Cotchin and Jack always play well against the Blues and ELLIS, Miles, Conca, Edwards or Morris usually tear it up against the Blues?? Why do we never have the chance to sat that??

We've won the last 2 season openers but lets not allows facts to get in the way here...
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Lack of time in the forward half for Lambert and Lloyd.
Its easy answers for mine
1) Griffiths hands down.
2) Morris forward doesn't work
3) We shouldn't be still in the position where we dont have a genuine crumber or ruck replacement for Maric.

I've got another question too.......
Chaplin a key in defence?

We still have far too many question marks in our team.

If we are still struggling to beat this scum mob by less than 10 goals the whole football staff can just pee off.
The club that keeps giving.
