Richmond too is also understood to be considering the position of contracted midfielder Reece Conca. The West Australian was offered earlier this month to West Coast, who were believed to have initially been lukewarm, but could have a change of heart.

Conca, who was the sixth overall selection in the 2010 national draft, has played 71 games since, including 19 this year where he gathered 25 possessions or more in only three games.

With so much risk attached to Trengove, I'd keep Conca. Would go as far as to say right now Conca is a better player than Trengove

Id be disappointed if we offered conca for a trade to get trengrove in our mids....

conca is not great but does have a bit of run about him compared to trengrove probably not being even able to run....

because IMO he is average and the trade/pick will be under 30 you would think, and that is fair and reasonable for him

Conca was a stuff up for the Richmond FC. Heppell should have been a Tiger. We ended up with a C grade player when we could have had another A grade player in Heppell. The mistakes that our recruiters make are unbelievable. Add Heppell and Parker into our midfield instead of Conca and Batchelor and we be around top 4 for sure. Id trade Conca to WCE for an appropriate deal.

Has been just as injury prone. I'm comparing pick 12 and Conca, with pick 23, another around there and Trengove. I like Conca but I don't think he is worth the top 10 pick, so it's like getting his market value plus getting in a like for like.
