Played much better in the middle, should have been there from the start.

I don't usually like Hunt but thought he was good yesterday

Been good for past month 👍

No he hasn't.

Well that's a difference of opinion
Although seeing that he hasn't been dropped, you would assume that I would be right

No we wouldnt.

Nothing to say on the football matter at hand?

I said what i had to.

Just to clarify - are you saying he doesn't need possessions playing as a back pocket (like a Stevie Morris) or as a tagger. I reckon your point could be valid or not depending on your answer.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

For clarity, In the football world according to WAT, backmen who shut down their opponent, but get few disposals, are not doing their job.

Yet he doesnt want players who can accumulate and dispose of the ball at a high level in the backline.

A midfielder can shut down his opponent and not get mant many disposals, and regularily butcher it when he does get it, and that is doing his job.

A ruckman can jump and get first hands to the ball, then just stand by watching and get very few disposals, and that is doing his job.

The phrase "doing his job" is all that is required to defend any criticism of a player he has a man crush on, irrespective of how valid those criticisms are. It is a magic catch all phrase that is all that is needed to justify his stance, one that circumnavigates the need to assess actually what "his job" entails.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Would think we keep Taylor Hunt on our list
Wouldn't cost much either

I'm glad you've learnt he is contracted from my advice two days ago. There is hope for you.

Ah, the witty comeback that any 12 year old would be proud of.

Yep that's exactly what he's saying. Ruckman, taggers and backmen don't need to touch the ball
