Will definitely be a surprise for the opposition finding it in their arms

I still rate short. He is still a beautiful kick and I think the finals experience will have done him some good. We have to remember a few of our more seasoned players had some shocking finals games before switching it on for 2017. I want short to be more daring with his run and absolutely punish the opposition with his long kicking

i don’t get the Short criticism.

I think he has been down a bit on last years very good form since he has come back from his arm injury but still doing a good job IMO.

I don’t get it even more people knock his kicking- which is elite.

Anyway we all see different things I guess.

Thank god someone has knowledge on the game and can identify what the coaching group clearly has identified...an elite kick is Short :clapping :shh

Where are all these awesome kicks..you do realise hitting opposition players on the tit doesn't constitute"elite" kicking? Nor do panicky hacks to no-one under even the tiniest amount of pressure..  :shh

Anyway hilarious that the most vocal self-proclaimed squib-hater on the board who bangs on interminably about how soft Bellis is and how Houli doesn't defend and how there's nothing more they hate than blokes who play scared, defends the softest,  least defensively accountable, scaredest squib on the list . a bloke that makes the other two look like Archer & Voss ...haha stuff me...you couldn't make this shyte up.... :shh :shh

Archer and Voss.... now your being hilarious 😂

You are right I don’t like softies and players that don’t defend first and foremost but I don’t see Short that way obviously. I understand you disagree and that’s fine/even good, considering you think Lambert isn’t much chop. What was it again?? VFL standard dud??

Even if you thought Short was a bit soft, that is one thing but to question his kicking makes you look uneducated. He would be in the best 3 kicks at the club. Anyone that spends more time actually watching footy than on this forum would know that.  :shh  :shh

Short is an elite kick. Needs to work on his defensive side and his game under pressure.

Should be a replacement for Houli long term. Need to get to work on him!

What about when it's not just to himself at the kick-ins or more than 15 metres under no pressure? :shh

Oh please, Cotch did the same but I don't see you calling for his head. It was a mix up, nothing more.
