Has some good traits but his goal kicking is abysmal.
Was last year and still the same this year.

So he hasn't improved this area.

Yep a grand final hero but we must upgrade.

He does a lot of things better than all our smalls apart from Rioli. If Butler has the aggots of Castagna or the overhead ability, he'd be near a star. Ditto if Castagna had Butler's leg.

One of the reasons why I want Bolton at the club for years to come because he does have the attributes - just isn't ready yet. Has much to work on.

You'll barely remember Bolton was ever on our list once Junior arrives... :shh

Dimma backs Castagna

“We spoke to him at the end of the game. He'll probably be a little bit distraught about his zero (goals) five (behinds), but he gave himself ample opportunities to play the game and that’s what we want him to do,” Hardwick said.

“He'll go back to the drawing board, he’ll work on his process, and he'll get a better result next week.

“The pleasing thing for me is he kept lining up to take those shots on goal.

“He had a really good game tonight. The finishing wasn't there, but it'll be there next week.”

Castagna had 14 disposals, four inside-50s and 300 metres gained to go with those five shots at goal.

Not a huge fan of George, but I'll give him one thing.

He can stick a tackle with the best of them
