so so many weak pricks and here we have a bloke who has to do it the hard way its amasing what a bit of hunger and guts can achieve. One of few positives tonight.

I've been a critic before but he was easily our best last night.

Was impressed with the reduced interchange how his power athleticism looked in the last 1/4. When other blokes were getting brushed aside he looked physically imposing. Seems like a great guy and I hope he really cements himself in the best 22.

Who played last night

Outside of Houli, b Ellis

That could be classed as a "weak prick"

The like ofntownsend, may be rubbish but not weak
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

This guy is hungry to succeed and an unbelievably hard worker, stood up when it counted last night and won't be the last time he does it.

Have to say he reminded me at times of pre-injury Foley....especially after watching the replay....

One of the nurses I know, knows the Lambert family. They have known Kane for a while. He was always a gun footballer but probably did not have the size to be picked up in the draft.

Great to see him make most of his opportunities. A real tough nut which we need so badly because we do have a lot of soft players in the team.

I'm only talking about one game, far from turned around on him and already said as much in the match thread....

Yer didn't read it as I was at the game.
Is it still to early to take back "he is an AFL hack"??

So was I - wrote it after I got home.

After one very good half of football against last year's wooden spooners?  You tell me....

Only having a bit of fun mate.
Lambert played really well on Thursday night. I hope he keeps it up. It would be nice to find one from off the rookie list that could become a very good player for us.... We need it.
I just like the way he doesn't seem to get flustered in congestion and he is not afraid to take other players on. They are the things I first look for in new guys. (Menadue also has shown that early on this year too. Really happy with what I have seen)
Lambert also looks to have got himself in great shape.
Anyway 4 points is 4 points and we move on to Collingwood.  :cheers

Kane worked out away from the club before his return to pre season at a place called United Fitness systems in Airport West and had been to extra sessions there as well during the pre season
His muscle and size has improved heaps
Pretty dedicated is Kane
Good to see him play well
Big season ahead

He is looking very stocky but still with good speed and after 14 games is looking like a man possessed to me.

Can never have enough of these footballers.
