Ridiculous if Newman is getting a game.

As an appointed apologist to the cause, I'd like to apologise for this selection (if it's true)
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Well done Kamdyn & Taylor  :clapping

Newy? After heart surgery really, at least give him sometime to recover, unlucky Lambert....

The Run Home ‏@TheRunHome twitter:

Chris Newman named for Richmond.

Kamdyn McIntosh to debut.

No Astbury (stingray), and Vickery not in the 22

Bang!

Fwd line looks alright! Not a huge Morris fan, but if he takes Yarran out I'll be happy!

I had the same procedure that Newy did in Dec 2013.  Granted that I'm 25 years older than him and nowhere near fit, but I went back to work after a week, which proved to be way too soon.  It would have to be a WHS issue to play him without even a pre-season game.  Just crazy IMHO.

Any team with Newman and Batchelor and Gordon and Morris in it is not a good team Jack.
