With respect 2 years ago when there was all that "who-ha" about his contract never once said did I say we should pay Dusty decent coin. I was actually one person in here who supported him staying and held firm in my belief (knowledge) that he never wanted to leave and was never going to leave

And can ask are you saying that we should pay Treloar or at least offer Treloar more that we offered Dusty 2 years ago? If you are then I am definitely don't think the kids worth sort of coin

But if the club deems he is and they go after and get him - great

If it doens't then so be it

The nature of the market is that you pay overs though isn't it? If your paying 750 - 800 to get someone across I would think normally your paying 200k a year more than their genuine value. 550 - 600 feels like the right price for Treloar, when factoring in age and potential.

Would that offend our top tier talent who ultimately would want success and have taken paycuts to make room for a 'big fish'?

Times have changed and so have the players wages. Every club will pay this sort of money to get these sorts of players. The clubs that don't will fall behind. We have fallen behind enough. Pay him top dollar.
