Wont be 2014

Will be 2015

Why is that  :huh

Said at the AGM that the facilities are not up to standard to host games and that they will need to spend approx $1mil to bring it up to standard.

Currently, there are no opposition change rooms, no public tiolets, no decent food facilities - this means the "facilities" are not up to standard and that until these things are corrected VFL games can't be played there

The said at the AGM that they will being doing the works but is a case of determining when and they said it was more likely to happen in late 2014 so the grounds ready for 2015.

Local Council & C'wood tipped in about $1mil+ to fix it up so they could play games there

Think about it they will need to build change rooms somewhere, they can't use the old ones inthe Dyer stand because that's the new museum. So ....

Public tiolets - outside oft he structure they will need the appropriate plumbing if you'll pardon the pun

About a $1 mil sounds about right

Its actually more along the lines of, fix up Jack Dyer Stand, add turnstiles/gates, add more fencing, create more standing room available, make more seating available, put in bench for teams, upgrade change rooms, upgrade canteen facilities + public toilets.

Give them the $$$ and I sure they would start tomorrow  ;D

But seriously going by what March & Gale said at the AGM 2014 is highly unlikely  ;D

I wouldn't, we've down that road, it is one of the reasons(not the main one) we've carried the debt we had. They borrowed to fund the pool and and offices just on 10 years ago

They've worked to hard to get of the debt, need to look at others ways to fund it. Also don't want investment in the footy side of things being compromised by borrowing
