If you watch it you can see the Freo players realise what was going to happen and start running to cover the position and 5 seconds later Houli finally see's Lambert yet still pulls the trigger. Slow.

We get that people are peeved

But

1/ keep the racial nonsense off the forum or you will receive a strike

2/ those who are swearing knowing the swear filter will do the editing keep it up and you will enjoy a 72 hour trip to the swear bench

silly decision to go up the middle.but for me  this just adds to my opinion that players like Houli,Hunt, pettard ,Gordon etc are not capable of taking us the next step ,they need to be turned over

Should never have been in that position, hit the post 6 times, Griffiths easy set shots and Cotchin couldn't even score from 35 metres......that's the ball game there

Crozier goals from the pocket, Pavlich pressure shot after that insipid free kick

That's the difference between us and the better sides, they love the pressure whilst we buckle under it

Thank you. Hunt Gordon and Lloyd are shocking. Houli not much better. One mistake just reinforces his glaring weakness, none more so than his brain.

they set the same trap all day, and that dumb stuffer fell for it at the worst possible time. how the hell does an AFL player make such a dumb decision when every footballer in country knows what should be done in that situation?

Both Sugark and Al's post sum up my views. Bachar's kick was quite unbelievable given the circumstances. He may not have "lost the game" for us but that kick was the reason we ended up losing.
Cotchin, Dusty & Jack had the opportunity to prevent Bachar's mistake cost us the game but didn't.
The umpire was responsible for Pavlich kicking that goal - not to mention the other 3 or 4 goals that Freo got from free kicks or 50m penalties.
In the end it wasn't the better team that won but the more composed team who made the most of their opportunities.
That's our opportunity to improve.
It's that simple Spud

I thought that was what the swear filter was for, to tone down the actual word being used so we could do it and get the point across?

Are you saying that we cant do that now? If not why don't you just create a filter that removes the word entirely??

Exactly.

The golfing equivalent of hitting it in the opposite direction of the pin, on the 18th hole.
The racing equivalent of taking the outside line on the final lap.

Worse decision by a footballer at this level all year.
