Pass from me

Agree with Angus, too injury prone

And to think we could have had Billy Longer, a young mobile ruckman and we didn't even try

Out of interest, how would we have got Longer?

Via a trade. Plenty of blokes on our list that have currency, wouldn't have taken much.

william did say try and by that we could have offered up one of our players like astbury along with that pick we wasted on the hack Hampson.

Hows that for a start?

Relax cowboy. Was genuinely curious and wanted to know, I'd never heard of Longer linked to Richmond.

A r1 pick was exchanged

A r1 pick was exchanged

After two years and nine senior games, Longer announced that he wanted to return to Melbourne to live, he said he missed his family and friends and sought a trade. He expressed an interest in playing for St Kilda,[2] and was traded, along with pick 48, for picks 25 and 41.[3]

We got Lennon in the 2013 draft, so would have been Longer for Lennon with our first round, but 2nd and third rounders did it. Unfortunately we got Hampsun instead.

your question was how would we have got longer i gave my opinion. Longer went cheap

we were too busy giving medicals to trengrove.

You also gave a lot of condescension for an innocent question.

The Trengrove saga was last year, Longer went at the end of 2013.

Bingo Angus, exactly the player I would have offered

Would have got it done, just the player doubt a pick would have been needed.

Kid wanted to come home, we could have easily done a deal

so like a lot of people on here saying kruzer be great ok so what does that mean for griffo ??? Kruzer wouldn't want to be sitting on the bench roatating with Ivan and before injuries griffo was keeping ty ut of the team. Hampson was just a back up if ivan went down ???? id be putting the money into the likes of motlop yarran trelaor and Dangerfield. They are what we need fast quick players that can hit the scoreboard don't forget if yah want kruzer well in all honesty liam might as well be traded then whats the point of him staying in the 2s for a third straight year???? :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

correct. i would love to know how people compare Kruzer to Griffiths? Both have achieved nothing and injuries have stalled them.

if kruzer and griffiths continue to be injured what then?

Just something to take into consideration.
Next year the sub will be wiped.
Reverting back to 4 players on the bench.
There was a time not so long ago when 2 ruckman were played.
Kreuzer would be perfect in this instance.
Would increase the versatility of our tall brigade substantially.
