Richmond has completed a trade to get Patrick Bowden - the younger brother of Tigers stalwart Joel Bowden - from the Whitten Oval to Punt Road.
In the first completed trade on the final day of the five-day AFL trading period, the Tigers have swapped their fourth round selection (No.56 overall) to the Dogs for the 24-year-old.
The younger Bowden made his debut for the Bulldogs in 2001 after being picked up with the No.58 selection at the 1999 NAB AFL Draft. He has 50 matches for the Bulldogs in five seasons.
A promising forward, Patrick Bowden has steadily developed and played 19 games and kicked 27 goals in 2004. But he only managed eight games this season, despite picking up more than 20 possessions in each of the first two rounds.
His older brother, 27-year-old Joel Bowden, has played 192 matches for the Tigers since 1996. He won the club's best-and-fairest award in 2004.
