So he arrived at the wobbles after they won the premiership in 2010.
They finished:

2010 Premiers

McCrae arrives as Head of developement.

2011: finished top lost GF.
2012: finished 4th lost PF.
2013: finished 6th lost EF.
2014: finished 11th
2015: finished 12th

It seems like he had a real impact in his last job.

 :facepalm
Are you saying it was his fault that the pies traded out all their premiership stars and remained at least competitive with all the youngsters that replaced them?

Seeing he was a head of development at the Pies and considering they quality of kids they've bought through the last couple of seasons reckon he's been very good at what he does.

Also read he won the AFL coaches association's most outstanding development coach back in 2014 so he is clearly rated by his peers

Yes WP, he was the Head of development  & yes they have quality young players who actually came in with very big wraps on them.
Other than the kids that have the wraps on them what else has developed that well?

On a side note Lachie Keeffe and Josh Thomas  have developed............  a taste for the  good stuff !

Apart from those that you mentioned, they lost or traded Jolly (number one ruck), Thomas (who before his ankle injury was a gun), Leon Davis,  Luke Ball, Harry O, Chris Dawes, Sharrod Wellingham, Alan Didak and Leigh Brown.

Now that is a lot of experience and some of those players are ver good players. So you would expect the side to slide when you replace all of those with youngsters.

So before you shoot off your mouth, go and do a little research. :whistle

The only useful player in that lot was Jolly

Dawes is a spud who saves his best game for us
Wellinghams disposal is poo
Ball was past it at St Kilda
Harry O enough said
Brown meh
