makes more sense than having the same bloke coaching the ruckman and the midfielders together.

Thats just plain crazy, what do they have to do with each other???

His title is Stoppage and Midfield coach - he is not the ruck coach (not at least by title).
So he helps directs both rucks and mids on where to stand and palm the ball and where to run for hit outs.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I've said it before many times over the last few yrs, you know this

Get rid of williams the dud one. How in gods name does this bloke still have a job in our forward line.

In: Monkhurst

Out: Francis, in Rendell

Out: Williams in Micky O or Ratts.

Out : Hartley in anyone that has a clue

You want to be the best start getting the best coaches. His had a great run williams

I know you have but you still haven't answered my actual question.

All you've done is again say who'd you'd sack and who you'd like to replace them with.

That's not what I want to know

What I want to know is where you want then to spend more money, which area.

You can replace people but surely have to make sure the right program is in place and part of that involves how you fund it. If the people haven't got the resources how can you expect them to do their job properly?

Personally, I want them to invest more into VFL program with the focus of making the VFL list stronger because and I've said this many times will benefit our young players coming through by the team more competitive.

It couldn't be at the expense of AFL listed players though.

Its always going to be tougher to get good VFL players to a club that's always going to choose their AFL talent ahead of you and compromise wins for development.

Still, the dogs did it last year and plenty of AFL teams performed very well this season in the VFL.

You've missed my point. All AFL stand alone VFL are required to have A VFL list. Out VFL listed players are poor, we don't sing VFL standard players and IMHO that's one of the reasons we are so non competitive. We appear to that part of he VFL program on the cheap

Our AFL players not playing at aFL level will always play ahead of the VFL list guys but each week you are going to have / need VFL players in the side. We need decent VFL players out there but we don't have that.
