OK in a new role I thought.

Keep him there for the rest of the year and see how he goes.

bar is set so so low again with this bloke. Stack and Mansell in front of him every day of the week and Vlastuin has to come back.
Then of course there is Short I dunno what drugs people are on when they say he is needed.

We should not be resigning him and if a club is foolish enough to offer a good second round pick for him then we would be crazy not to take it.

Ffs Jason Castagna is in front of him as a fwd and so is Aarts and they both should be dropped and he is a long way down the list to play hb
it really does smack of the Caddy situation Hardwick desperate to find a way to give a favorite a game.

Balmey should be putting his foot down is anyone telling Hardwick how it is.

TIGER'S TALKS PAUSED AMID RIVAL INTEREST

TRIPLE premiership forward Daniel Rioli has put contract negotiations on hold while he works to retain a spot in Richmond's best 22 in a new-found half-back role.

The 24-year-old last week returned to play his first AFL game since round 13 as a defender as the Tigers fell to Collingwood, plunging their finals hopes into disarray.

As reported by AFL.com.au, Rioli had started talks earlier this season on a two-year extension but his management and the club have since opted to park talks.

His agent Ralph Carr said there had been early interest in Rioli but expected negotiations with Richmond to pick up at season's end.

Yeah, it’s hard to believe we’ve played in 7 of the last 8 finals campaigns, let alone the last 4 prelims or won 3 flags.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Not hard to believe at all !!!!!! But what it has to do with Dan Rioli im not sure. We would have won all three if he was with us or not.

dropped several times on a long continual down hill spiral cant get a kick in the midfield does nothing as fwd and here we are playing him in defense hoping it will change after publicly stating he will finally have to go back and earn his spot in the two's Jeez that lasted a long time.

Dont get butt hurt with mate have a go at those in charge who keep playing him  im just saying what everyone thinks. Well everyone other than you obviously.  :whistle

Very serviceable.

Was solid last week too, from my view at the game.

Might have a few meters gained this week to satisfy the rest.
