i think you blokes are a bit harsh on our recruiters. The newly promoted Clarke, has only been in the position for 2 months after all. I doubt he had much say in any of the previous recruits of the last 6 years.

The Hawks offered Hartung, 21 and Whitecross, 26, to the Lions in exchange for pick No. 21. Hawthorn hope to swap picks No. 21 and No. 10 to the Suns for O’Meara.

Carlton have insisted they will not budge on Gibbs' move to Adelaide unless the Crows improve their offer of a first round pick and a player. Rory Atkins was the latest player suggested in a trade along with pick 13 but Carlton have rejected this. The Blues want pick 13 and a player such as Charlie Cameron, Mitch McGovern or possibly Brad Crouch, given that Gibbs is contracted for three more years at the club.

The Western Bulldogs will deal with Fremantle on Joel Hamling and with St Kilda on Koby Stevens. Carlton and North Melbourne are both in the hunt for the Dogs' Nathan Hrovat.
